I enjoy making connections.
Between ideas, people, platforms, or pages, I’m happiest when I’m elbow-deep in a project, figuring out how all the moving parts fit together. Sometimes that means shaping a message, sometimes it’s sorting out structure or design, and sometimes it’s stepping back to ask if the overall strategy still makes sense. I like being involved in different parts of a project, especially when I can help them mesh in a way that feels clear, thoughtful, and purposeful.
From Photoshop layers to full campaigns.
My path started in photography, took a detour into retouching, and then went headfirst into graphic design, where I discovered how much I enjoy making things not just look good, but work well. That’s what led me into publishing, web design, and eventually, marketing and communications. I’ve worked on print layouts, redesigned websites, built complex forms that function well and look nice, run email campaigns, and helped clients figure out what they’re really trying to say as well as who needs to hear it.
My combined skills in marketing, communications, and design mean I can handle multiple pieces of a project — from strategy to execution — without losing sight of the big picture. That means smoother workflows, clearer messaging, and stronger results for you. Whether it’s crafting targeted campaigns, designing materials that actually get noticed, or streamlining content so it speaks directly to your audience, I bring a versatile toolkit that helps your goals come to life, efficiently and effectively.
If you’d like to connect, I’d love to hear what you’re working on. Good things tend to happen when curious people start talking!
More ways I connect
- Reading aloud to my kids. We’re almost done the Percy Jackson series. What we should try next?
- Walking in the evening and appreciating the similarities and differences of the neighbourhood homes.
- Catching up over coffee or beer with neglected but understanding friends (life after kids!)
- Puzzles in the winter — this one gives 48 tiny dopamine hits, plus the one when you finish the puzzle
- Reactivating very dormant piano skills by practicing this sheet music a bit every day
